Cardinal Directions

From the East

Route 2 West to Fitchburg. Take exit 99B (Formerly 31B -Fitchburg Route 12 North). Bear right off the exit to follow Route 12. Follow Route 12 for 3.2 miles to the stoplight just past The Market Basket.** Turn right at 2A/Water Street, go over the overpass and make the next left onto Main Street. The library is .3 miles on the left.

(The Library parking lot is reached by turning left immediately after Espresso Pizza on Main St.- before you reach the Library. Take this short street, Newton Place, to the end and turn right into the Library Parking Lot.)

From the Southeast

From Worcester, take highway 190 North to the merge with Route 2 West. Follow Route 2 West to Fitchburg. Follow the directions above for travel from the East.

From the Northeast

From Townsend, take Route 13 to the intersection of Route 2A. Turn right and continue on through three lights to Main Street.  Continue straight through the light, the library is .3 miles on the left. Turn left on Newton Place for convenient parking at the corner of Boulder Drive.

From the Northwest

From Ashby, take Route 119 South which will merge into Route 31. Continue on Route 31 until you come to a set of lights. Veer to the left around the Common (the Rollstone Boulder will be on your right).  Use the right lane and go through the set of lights, taking you to Boulder Drive. The Library parking lot will be on your left, at the corner of Newton Place. 

From the Southwest

From Westminster follow Route 2A North to the Fitchburg Common. Use the right lane and go through the set of lights, taking you to Boulder Drive. The Library parking lot will be on your left, at the corner of Newton Place.  

(To reach the Municipal parking lot, pass Newton Place and enter the Parking Lot on the left.)

From the West

From Route 2 take Exit 95, the Route 31 exit. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Route 31 North (Princeton Road) and follow it to the end - Westminster Street. Turn right onto Westminster Street (Rt 2A East) and right again on River Street (Rt 2A East and Rt 12 South). At the rotary, take the second exit onto Kimball Street (still 2A and 12). In approximately ½ mile, turn left onto Rollstone Street. Turn right onto Main St/Boulder Drive, and stay in the right lane. Park in the library lot on the corner of Boulder Drive and Newton Place.
