As of Wednesday, May 18, 2022 (updated weekly) the City has approximately 180 confirmed active cases of COVID-19, under isolation orders. There have been 8 cases in the last 24 hours, 91 cases in the last 7 days, 354 in the last month and cases in 2022.
According to DPH, the Positivity Rate in Fitchburg from May 1 to May 14, 2022 was 6.1%.

Trends:
- First dose rates have increased 2% (1% statewide) over the past two months, 2/21-3/1/22 showing the greatest number of new doses given.
- Fully Vaccinated rates have increased 3% (2% statewide) over the past two months, with highest rates being in February.
- Booster rates rapidly dropped at the end of February to beginning of March, and slowly increased from march to April, while booster rates have decreased-2% during the overall two-month period
