[ARCHIVED] Mayor Stephen L. DiNatale, 3/22/2020 COVID-19 Update

Good afternoon Fitchburg residents,

I hope you all are having a healthy weekend.

The City has been informed of a confirmed COVID-19 case who is a City employee, the individual is under isolation regulations as determined by the Mass. Department of Public Health, and is working with our local Board of Health. With an abundance of caution we will be closing 166 Boulder Drive Suite 108 and 102 to all City employees. The building is being professionally cleaned, and employees will have access to their offices on March 28, 2020. As a friendly reminder, all City buildings will remain closed to the general public. Please continue use online services, email, and phone to reach City Departments. City employees are working remotely, to continue to provide services to the public. As a reminder, we have our COVID-19 resource page available here: https://www.fitchburgma.gov/878/COVID-19-Alerts-Notifications

I would like to continually recognize the efforts of our staff and the work they have been doing to continue public service.

I ask the public to continue to remain patient as staff are doing their best to respond with limited resources.

Thank you,

Mayor Stephen L. DiNatale
