Absentee Ballots for the March 3, 2020 Presidential Primary are now available!

In order to be eligible to vote by absentee ballot in Massachusetts, a voter must be prevented from voting at their polling place on Election Day, due to:

  • Absence from the voter’s city or town on Election Day; or
  • Physical disability; or
  • Religious belief.

If you wish to vote via absentee ballot, you may access an application HERE, or visit the City Clerk’s Office during our regular hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.



Voter Registration 

wednesday, february 12, 2020 is the last day to register to vote in the march 3, 2020 presidential primary.

 You may register to vote online at the Secretary of State's website.
Or, if you prefer, you may visit the City Clerk's office to register to vote in person.  The office is open from 8:30AM to 4:30PM Monday - Friday.  The office will be open until 8PM for voter registration on february 12, 2020.

Ward 2 Precincts A and B - St. Joseph Church Hall, Woodland St.

Ward 3 Precincts A and B - Memorial Middle School, 615 Rollstone St.

Ward 4 Precincts A and B - Senior Citizens Center, 14 Wallace Ave.

Ward 5 Precincts A and B - Rollstone Congregational Church, 199 Main St.

Ward 6 Precincts A and B - St. Bernard's Activity Center, 260 Summer St.
