Adding additional library cards to Libby

Your CW MARS library card allows you to borrow eBooks from other library networks in the state. To add these system to your Libby app, open the app:

  • Tap on the main menu (middle button).
  • Click on “Add Library,” and search for one of the network names below, such as SAILS or NOBLE.
  • Click on Sign in With My Card.
  • Choose CW MARS from the list of Partner Libraries, and enter your library card number and PIN as usual.

Partner Library networks available to add are:

  • SAILS Library Network
  • Merrimack Valley Library Consortium
  • Minuteman Library Network
  • CLAMS
  • Old Colony Library Network
  • NOBLE: North of Boston Library Exchange
  • Boston Public Library

You can borrow materials from the other consortia. The Libby app will automatically search for the library network with the shortest wait list or first available copy.

(Please note that the loan periods are subject to the local rules of that consortium and not to the rules of CW MARS. In fulfilling holds, the system will always give preference to cardholders of that consortium (as opposed to cardholders from outside the consortium).
