   Volunteers are a huge asset to the success of Fitchburg Civic Days. On behalf of the Civic Days Committee we thank you for your service.

   Civic Days brings in 20k attendees into Fitchburg and is a celebration of our local music, artisans, businesses and our community. 

   Without you events like this would not be possible. Thank you!

   Please bring a friend or friends to help, it makes the shifts go by quick, helps us have plenty of volunteers and it's more fun!

    All volunteers must fill out this document. You will be asked to sign it on the day of the event at the Civic Days Table. Please review it prior to the event. You will not be permitted to assist unless you sign the waiver. 

    Anyone under 18 must fill the Under 18 Waiver PRIOR to the event and upload it. Thank you!

26. Under 18 Waiver

    You must submit a waiver for all volunteers under 18. All volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

31. BLOCK PARTY VOLUNTEER AVAILABILITY & TASKS

33. Which shift can you work at the Block Party?

    Shifts are ~2 hours, you will be provided a volunteer meal, t-shirt and the materials you need for your shift. Parking is behind City Hall and you then will report to the Civic Days tent in front of City Hall.

    
    

    Please select you availability for the day. We will only schedule you for a 2 hour shift (With the exception of the first shift). 

    1. 2 – 4pm (Set-up, Vendor Org. or Moving Tables)
    2. 4 – 6pm (Grounds keeping or Table Cleaning)
    3. 6 – 8pm (Grounds keeping or Table Cleaning)
    4. 8 – 10pm (Grounds keeping or Table Cleaning)
    5. 10pm –11pm (Break Down, Moving Tables)
    6. Any Shift

    For the parade. Please show up to St. Bernards on July 4th at 8:30am.

    You will be given a t-shirt for helping us. 

    You will be helping to organize the parade participants in teams of 2 and ensure that they are in the right order. You will be given a clipboard and walkie talkie to do so. 

    Bring a buddy with you and help us to coordinate in one of our 6 zones.
